From its gently rolling grounds to its grand living room, Villa Corsano offers a stylish and comfortable retreat from the hustle of travel. Every detail of the decor is unique and tasteful. The hosts take great care to make their guests feel at home and are very helpful in arranging outings in the countryside as well as meals at the villa. The villa, gardens, and pool are so lovely that we never wanted to venture far away. It's easy to fall under the spell of Corsano's grace and charm. “Beautiful Memories for a Lifetime” 14 people were in our group and we found the accommodations wonderful. Two kitchens allowed us to either get together or grab something and go. The dinner prepared by the family on our last night was our greatest meal in Italy. Our acquaintance with Rosa was a highlight of our stay. I had no problem with our accommodations on the third floor “The Perfect Wedding in a Magical Place” I have stayed twice with my family in the Villa Corsano, and I cannot recommend this place enough. It is set among the most beautiful hills and scenery in the world, and the rooms, grounds, and hospitality are fantastic. The pictures do not do justice to the majesty of the place. A dear friend had been telling me stories of Corsano for many years. They were all true and much more. The views of Tuscany are breathtaking of course, but the ambiance brings peace and sheer delight. Our hosts, Alvise, Anna and Jacopo are so welcoming and warm. A home away from home!!! “Incredible time in a perfect setting.” Our stay at Villa Corsano was excellent. We travelled with Extended family and friends including 6 children. The villa comfortably held the 15 of us. The owner, was very helpful in helping us plan a spontaneous itinerary, including dinners in off the beaten path ristorantes and touring medieval towns. The property has a family wine that's outstanding, a red and a prosecco. We had Vanna come to the house two times and an exquisite meal was prepared for us.The pool was awesome and the view from the pool deck of Siena was remarkable. Highly recommended. Could us some new mattresses and updated baths otherwise perfect. We had an amazing week with family and friends at the villa. The villa is beautiful and its history is captivating. Jacopo was an accommodating and helpful host. It was a week we will always remember. Liliana from Tenuta di Corsano ran a wonderful cooking course for us and cooked a dinner for us that none of us will ever forget. We all wished we were staying 2 weeks not 1! “One of the Crown Jewels of Tuscany” At Villa Corsano, everyone was so accommodating and generous with time and resources. The villa is old and that is part of its charm. The uneven tile floors are spectacular and feel lovely on bare feet. the Villa sets atop a hill overlooking Siena, fields, gardens, vineyards, and olive groves. The Tuscan light is a photographer's dream - the golds and yellows are especially stunning here. The kitchen is big and features professional appliances to delight the most ardent cook. I loved the huge living room, where you can sink into cushy sofas and read or simply look out the huge windows at the lovely landscape surrounding the Villa. The swimming pool is big, well-maintained and provides a welcome respite from the July Tuscan sun. The light within the Villa also makes for sensual photos of shadow and light. The quiet there is hypnotic and profound; it seeps into your belly and brings you peace. Can't wait to return. Ville di Corsano is a special place. The villa and surrounding areas are full of history and the views from every area are astounding. It is possible to walk through olive orchards and vineyards or to walk along the meandering road through the fields. The people are absolutely wonderful. I can't wait to go back. The drive to Siena is not too far and is a pleasant drive. Magic, nature, history, art and culture. Our stay was to say the least memorable! |
